1989	Many friends have asked about the history behind the Wyatt "Family" Christmas Cards. It started in 1984 as a tongue-in-cheek spoof of the many family photo cards shared at Christmas (actually, we love your family photos, so please keep them coming!!!). Not surprisingly, it has evolved into a highlight of our Christmas season; a joy to make, a pleasure to send: and hopefully, a delight for folks to receive. Each year, we have tried to invent clever ways to pose our cats, from skiing, to pulling snow sleds, to singing Christmas Carols, to dancing as Sugar Plum Fairies in tutus! As each year goes by, it gets more difficult, and now we usually begin the planning process in January. Our mailing list has grown from around 30 to nearly 400, traveling from England, France, Germany, and Norway, to "down under" in Australia. On more than one occasion, we have traveled to other towns and been surprised by strangers who recognize us as the "cat people" from our Christmas cards which have been shared by their friends. It is our hope that these cards will bring a chuckle, a laugh, and a little bit of anticipation for what's coming next year from the Wyatt "Family".
